REGIS and his extensive database

The actual eco-balancing process takes place in the basic database. This is where the measuring points are built up step-by-step from processes and their eco-inventories. Any materials required (goods, substances and energy types) may be added to the provided data from ecoinvent which already contains over 2500 entries, and an operation's own process data can be entered as eco-inventories. Insignificant materials which only serve to unnecessarily inflate analyses can be screened out.
