Sinum is granted the Switzerland Technology Label for its innovative
EcoPerformance Tool REGIS 2.1
Switzerland Technology is an award initiated 1988 by leading swiss leaders
from business and administration (e.g. Nicolas Hayek, President, Swatch
Groupe). It is granted each year to outstanding projects in industry and
science - especially with respect to market potential and technological
excellence. The winners are granted a free booth at Hannover Industrie Messe
or CEBIT. sinum's EcoPerformance System became the only project this year to
receive the basic award as well as two special awards (environmental award
from Foundation for environment and nature; award for the best project from
eastern Switzerland).
Sinum AG - EcoPerformance Systems provides a comprehensive approach for
optimisation of environmental aspects and costs. Environmental Managers and
Engineers take advantage of a set of methodologies and software to fulfil
the requirements of ISO14001/14031 and ISO14040. Especially our world
leading software REGIS assists users in modelling their organisational
structures, observing mass and energy flows, evaluating measures and
generating key figures for all relevant target groups. Environmental
reporting is supported as well.
The Sinum Corporation was initiated as a spin-off of University of St.Gallen
Business School and the Institute for Environment and Economics in 1993. Today,
a team of environmental economists, managers, engineers and natural scientists
provide their products and services to some 200 costumers around the world.
And in the near future, Sinum’s products will be available from well known and
qualified distributing partners in Japan, Italy and the US.
